IMPACTX™ has lower refractive index, internal stress and chromatic dispersion than polycarbonate, resulting in sharper images, higher definition, reduces “rainbowing”, and more visual comfort. Unlike polycarbonate and polyamide , IMPACTX™ is not attacked by common chemicals or solvents (i.e. acetone and methyl alcohol).
